Manufacturing Financial Controller
Location: : Manchester - Manchester
Rate: £ 35 to £ 50 K (full-time (per year)) + bonus, benefits & car
Large FMCG manufacturing business based in the North West is looking to appoint a qualified Financial Controller / Management Accountant with manufacturing experience into the role of Financial Controller.
Reporting to the Site Operational Director with a dotted line into the Group Finance Director – the Financial Controller will take responsibility for a small, talented finance department. The role of the new incumbent will be to analyse & assess historical performance and to drive and influence positive change throughout the business.
The role is very much an operational Management Accountant's position and will integrate fully with operations with the new incumbent building relationships and challenging business decisions with emphasis on driving the businesses financial agenda forward.
The ideal candidate will be either a qualified Financial Controller from a recognised FMCG business looking for a new position or an operationally focused Senior Management Accountant looking for career advancement in their first Financial Controller's position. As a result, the successful candidate will be a qualified Manufacturing Accountant possessing drive & ambition with a collegiate, hard working personality coupled with excellent communication skills.
Salary on commencement is £35,000-£45,000 and is coupled with excellent benefits and bonuses. This is the perfect opportunity for a qualified Accountant to join a successful FMCG business as part of the senior management team.
