1st line support / helpdesk analyst
Location: : Leicester - Leicestershire
Rate: £ 14 to £ 17 K (full-time (per year)) + to £17,000 plus bens
1st line IT Support Analyst / Helpdesk analyst required for my client, a large retail company based in Leicester.
The role will involve working in a team environment, to SLAs, supporting a large user base running Windows XP and EPOS related software / hardware.
To be suited to this role you will need to have good customer service skills with a “customer first” attitude, backed up with skills in English and Maths. People with experience and a genuine desire to build a career in IT will be well suited to this role and you must have a very good understanding of Windows XP and its architecture / components: Active Directory, MS Office Suite, Remote Access.
Applicants will need to demonstrate some previous experience working in an IT support or call centre support environment. It would be desirable that this experience comes from the retail sector.
This position offers a salary of £13,000 - £17,000, a good benefits package, and genuine career prospects in IT.
